Description:
The film follows Jay, a withdrawn London bartender who has chosen to live a detached and emotionally distant life after separating from his family. Each Wednesday, he meets a mysterious woman named Claire in his small apartment for intense, wordless sexual encounters. Their relationship exists almost entirely without conversation, names, or personal details—an arrangement built purely on physical connection rather than emotional intimacy.
Over time, Jay becomes increasingly curious about the woman who shares these private moments with him. Unable to ignore his growing fascination, he eventually follows her after one of their meetings and discovers that Claire has a completely different life outside their secret arrangement. She is married and involved in the local theater scene, performing in small stage productions while maintaining the appearance of a normal domestic life.
As Jay begins to observe her world from a distance, the fragile boundaries of their unusual relationship begin to collapse. What once felt like a simple physical escape becomes complicated by emotions, jealousy, and the painful realization that true intimacy involves vulnerability and consequences.
Exploring themes of loneliness, desire, and human connection, the film presents a raw and unfiltered look at relationships built on secrecy and longing, revealing how even the most impersonal encounters can lead to deep emotional conflict.
